Educational Leadership Team (ELT)

The Futures for Kids ELT was recruited as an advisory board at the inception of F4K to shape our program to meet the needs of both students and the education community. The ELT molds the shape of the F4K web portal because we are creating it with their wishes in mind. The ELT is one of the reasons we have been successful to date.  

The ELT is composed of top educators from around the state and includes:

  • Career Development Coordinators (CDCs)

  • School Counselors

  • Career-Technical Education (CTE) Directors

    •

  • Principals and Assistant Principals

  • Student Services Directors

  • School-to-Career Coordinators

  • Representatives from DPI, SOICC and the NC Community College System

Business Steering Committee (BSC)

The Futures for Kids BSC was created to shape the tools and delivery of F4K to meet the workforce development needs of our community.

These progressive business leaders meet bimonthly to:

  • Provide valuable feedback on the functionality of F4K’s web portal

  • Provide feedback ideas on how F4K can create future employees locally

  • Generate ideas on how F4K can serve the business community
