Wilson’s Mills
Elementary School in Johnston County shows us it’s never too early to get
kids thinking about their future…Guidance Counselor Christina Allen
orchestrates a 5th Grade Career Day and uses F4K to help the
students prepare and get the most out of their day.
|
|
|
 |
"Our 5th Grade Career
Day is Friday, March 13th from 9:00 to 11:00. The students have used Futures
for Kids to find their interests and research different jobs. On Friday they
will meet 9 to 10 different people with different careers and ask them
questions about the jobs as well as listen to the speakers. Our goal is to
let these students know that choices they make as early as middle school can
help (or hurt) their future careers. We have found F4K a very good site for
our students."
